Youth leading change, shaping Nigeria.
Building leaders, projects, and lasting change.
Who we are?
Youth leading change, shaping Nigeria.
Turning ideas into action, nationwide impact.Young Nigerian Changemakers (YNC) is a youth-led movement raising a generation of leaders who don’t just talk about change — they make it happen. Founded in 2022, YNC exists to equip young Nigerians with the skills, confidence, and networks to take charge of their communities and shape the nation’s future. Through leadership training, grassroots projects, and bold advocacy, we are turning classrooms into launchpads, ideas into solutions, and young voices into movements that drive real impact across Nigeria. At YNC, we believe every young person has the capacity to lead, serve, and create.
Our Story
Young Nigerian Changemakers (YNC) was born in 2022 by Precious Ojo & Ogooluwa Idowu, out of a simple but urgent belief: young people should not have to wait for permission to lead. Across Nigeria, we saw students and community youth with passion and ideas — but without the platform, training, or resources to turn those ideas into impact. What began as a small initiative among driven young Nigerians is now growing into a national movement. From hosting leadership trainings to launching community projects and building YNC Chapters, we are proving that when youth are equipped and connected, they can transform classrooms into innovation hubs and communities into engines of change. Our story is still being written — not just by us, but by every young person who chooses to step up, take action, and become the message of change.
Our Mission.
Our Vision.
